British Judge Clears Wikileaks Founder for Extradition to Sweden

A British judge has ruled that WikiLeaks  founder Julian Assange can be extradited to Sweden to face allegations of sex crimes.

Swedish authorities have not charged him, but want to question Assange about accusations of sexual misconduct made by two women last August.

Assange has denied any wrongdoing.

His lawyers say they will appeal the British judge's ruling Thursday.  They insist the WikiLeaks founder would not get a fair trial in Sweden.

Assange is also the focus of a U.S. probe for his release of diplomatic cables, some containing sensitive information.
