Saturday, April 30—17th Annual Oxford Day Come spend the day in our historic Town and enjoy a Parade, Family Hour in Town Park, live music, dog show and more! See www.oxfordday.org for more information.


Saturday, May 21—Secret Gardens of Oxford Tour—10 am—4 pm The Oxford Garden Club presents 9 beautiful gardens nestled behind historic homes in Oxford. Enjoy plein aire artists and talented musicians while strolling through the gardens. Ticket Price—$15.00 and are available the day of the tour at Oxford Town Park. To be held Rain or Shine!


May 27 and 28 (Memorial Day Weekend) - Fine Arts Fair The Oxford Community Center will be hosting their 27th Annual Fine Arts Fair featuring local and national artists showing and selling original works. Leisurely browse a variety of maritime and rural themes as well as landscapes, abstract works, photography, and sculpture. You won’t want to miss the fair’s traditional homemade strawberry shortcake!


Sunday, June 5—Mid-Shore Community Band in Town Park—3 pm Join us in Town Park for a free concert by the Mid-Shore Community Band. The Band is made up of local musicians and is 45 members strong!


Sunday, June 12—Historic Walking Tour of Oxford—10:30 am Meet at Oxford-Bellevue Ferry to begin a short walking Tour of Oxford and its history. Your tour guide will lead you through the Town pointing out historic places and stories of Oxford’s history. The event is free and open to the public.


Saturday, June 25—Cardboat Boat Races Join in the fun at The Strand for a great day benefitting the MD Special Olympics. Be a participant or just a spectator in the Cardboard boat Boat Races! The event begins at 10:00 a.m.


Sunday, July 3—Oxford Fireworks at Dusk! You won’t to miss the Oxford Fireworks over the Tred Avon River for the 4th! The event begins at dusk. Best place for viewing—The Strand.


Sunday, July 17—Music in Town Park—3 to 5 pm Join us in Oxford Town Park for an afternoon of music with the local band - Three Penny Opera! The event is free and open to the public.


August 12-14—Oxford Regatta The Tred Avon Yacht Club hosts their annual Oxford Regatta which will include sailboat races ranging in size from to the small optimist prams to the Log Canoes. Live music will be at the Club boat Friday and Saturday nights. Races can be viewed from all over Town—from the Strand, Oxford Town Park, or from the deck at Masthead Restaurant!

Saturday, October 8—Auction of Oxford’s 2011 Picket Fences—4 to 6 pm The 3rd Annual Auction of Oxford’s Picket Fences will be held this year at Combsberry Inn’s historic barn. The public is invited to this free event, featuring an auction of the 18 picket fences for 2011—plus food, drinks and live music!


Oxford’s 2011 Tour of Picket Fences Throughout Town—All Summer From Memorial Day weekend through the end of September—pick up a map of our walking tour of the 18 picket fences. These fences, painted and designed by local artists, are displayed throughout Town for the summer season!
