ST. MICHAELS WILL AGAIN HOST THE POPULAR “PAINT THE TOWN” EVENTS THIS YEAR.
Paint the Town (PTT) day will be Saturday, October 8th, rain or shine, from 8am until 12:30pm. Artists are invited to set up their easels anywhere in town and create a St. Michaels scene. All artists, 13 years and up, are invited to participate. Registration is required. Judging of the work completed on Saturday, October 8th ONLY will take place at St. Luke’s church. Prizes will be awarded.
Extended Painting Days are October 1st through the 7th. Artists unable to paint on October 8th are encouraged to Paint the Town at their convenience anytime during the week of October 1-7 and will be eligible to participate in the PTT judged exhibit at the St. Michaels Library Gallery during the month of November.
All work created during Paint the Town, October 1-8, 2011 is eligible to be included in the St. Michaels Art League judged exhibit at the Talbot County Free Library Gallery during November. Cash prizes will be awarded. Visit www.stmichaelsartleague.org for details on all events after August 1st.
