TWILIGHT DINNER PERFORMANCE

EASTON....TWILIGHT DINNER PERFORMANCE - An Evening of Flamenco featuring Anna Menendez and Company on Friday, April 10, 2009.

Cost is $48 for members and $73 for non-members.

Anna Menendez and Company return for an exciting evening of dance and music. Anna Menendez is a flamenco dancer based out of the Washington DC area. She has worked as a performer, teacher and choreographer since 1996. Her credits include performances at the Spanish and Mexican Embassies, the Kennedy Center, Lisner Auditorium, and the Smithsonian Institution. Reservations are required.

EASTON FARMERS MARKET
April 11, 18, 25, 2009

# Jimmy Buffet-style summer fun!

The Easton Farmers Market attracts 700-1,000 visitors per Saturday during a season which runs from April right up until Christmas. Operating from 8am to 1pm on Saturdays, and Wednesdays during the summer months, this experience has become more than a typical shopping trip for local residents and visitors to the area. Live music is presented from 10:30am–12:30pm, and many shoppers make a point of meeting friends and their favorite vendors regularly during their visits. Seasonal farm produce, farm products and meats, seafood, and baked goods are presented, as well as unique hand-crafted items – sold by the people who harvested or created them. These friendly, well-informed vendors are always ready to teach and talk. Aprons and market bags are now available for sale with the Easton Farmers Market logo.


MID-SHORE STUDENT ART EXHIBITION, APRIL 16 - MAY 30
April 16, 2009

EASTON....Mid-Shore Student Art Exhibition (April 16 - May 30, 2009) provides a forum for student artists to compete and display their work. The exhibition features the works of approximate 170 student artists in the Eastern Shore community (grades K through 12) including home school and special education students. The selected art represents both traditional and non-traditional work completed in the 2008-2009 school year. The Mid-Shore Student Art Exhibition opens with a reception on Thursday, April 16, 2009 from 4 to 7 pm; award presentation at 6pm.

PADDLING THE PICKERING
April 18, 2009
