21st Century Native Americans Living on Maryland's Eastern Shore

Catching Shadows: Tintype Portraits and Recorded Voices of 21st Century Native Americans Living on Maryland's Eastern Shore.

The Maryland Commission On Indian Affairs acknowledges four indigenous tribal groups still living on Maryland's Eastern Shore. They are known as the Accohannock, the Assateague, the Nause Waiwash Band of Indians, and the Pocomoke. Federal or State governments do not yet recognize them. These people are the subject of Catching Shadows.
