Christmas on the Creek - Oxford, MD Event

 

 

 

     Christmas on the Creek – Plans are underway for Christmas on the Creek, being held the weekend of December 6, 2013 in Oxford, Maryland on the Eastern Shore. Schedule of Christmas on the Creek events are as follows:

 

FRIDAY

6 pm: Gospel music and spirited community caroling, Waters United Methodist Church.

SATURDAY

9 am to noon: Christmas Bazaar at Church of the Holy Trinity; greens, wreaths, baked goods

10 am - 4 pm: Oxford Library open house with cider and cookies and gift books sale

10 am - 4 pm: The Treasure Chest gift shop - 10 to 25% off, plus refreshments

Noon - 4 pm: Mystery Loves Company bookstore, special Jane Austen Christmas Tea

1 - 5:30 pm: Oxford Museum, festive holiday window displays and unique gifts

5:30 pm: Santa Claus arrives in Town Park, complete with treats, for the official tree lighting

5 to 7 pm, Oxford Methodist Church Homemade Soup Supper. Carryout, too.

7:30 pm: Tidewater Chamber Singers - “An Acapella Christmas 2013” - at the Oxford Community Center

SUNDAY

8-11 am: Oxford Fire House Breakfast with Santa, Ladies Auxiliary Gift Shop, too

10 am - 4 pm: Historic Homes & Inns of Oxford Tour, sponsored by Oxford Community Center

10 am - 4 pm: The Treasure Chest gift shop - 10 to 25% off, plus refreshments and free gift wrapping

Noon & 2 pm: Wreath Workshops, Combsberry Inn, $15 a person, Reservations required in advance

 

Historic Homes & Inns Tour Update – The Historic Homes Tour will be held December 8, 2013 from 10am-4pm.  The tour will consist of 6 homes, 3 Inns and the Historic John Wesley Church.  It was asked that those participating have a treat and drink for attendees.
