Cambridge Classic Powerboat Regatta

100th annual Cambridge Classic Powerboat Regatta

Cambridge Power Boat Regatta Association

July 22, 2010 - July 25, 2010

This is the oldest active race in the country. More than 150 race teams will come from all over the United States and Canada to converge upon Dorchester County in what will be a truly historical event.

Check out the thrills 'n spills on the Choptank River at the special 100th anniversary of this American Powerboat Association-sanctioned world class of inboard hydroplane and flat-bottom boats race. The action will happen at Great Marsh Park in Cambridge, near Somerset Avenue and Hambrooks Boulevard. Free admission to watch the races! Food and Drinks will be available.

Thursday: organized testing 10am-5pm

Friday: Elimination heats 10am-5pm

Saturday: Elimination heats 10am-5pm

Sunday: Finals noon until 4pm

The pit area will be open for you to look around at the boats and talk with the race teams. The races will be broadcasted live on MTS's ESPN 1240 AM station.
