TRAPPE....Horse Racing Coming to Trappe at Mitchum's
If you are the gambling type...Mitchum's Steakhouse has a fun experience for you. This Sunday, August 1st, between the hours 5pm to 6pm, Mitchum's will be offering complimentary drinks for those who make a reservation for dinner. This is to celebrate a horse named Trappe Shot who is meant to race in The Haskell Invitational at Monmouth Park. He is a great grandson of Seattle Slew. Trappe Shot is owned by Nicholas Brady of Trappe, Maryland, the US Secretary of the Treasury under former Pres George HW Bush. This link will provide more info regarding the horse and race:

The race, which goes off at 5:40pm on Sunday and will be shown on the large television over the bar in the restaurant. If Trappe Shot wins, those people who have a reservation before 6:30pm will receive a steak* dinner compliments of Mitchum’s. Seating is limited and reservations are strickly required, simply by responding to this email, or calling the restaurant @ 410-476-3902. Remember, it's a gamble whether dinner is complimentary or not....
